We added some code to clear the states manually and havent had a word off the problem since. I find it quite annoying that a company just lets these complaints go on unheeded. After trying numerous other suggestions, deleting the "website storage settings" through Adobe worked!! I tried most of the solutions in those sites. I finally solved it by uninstalling Flash Player (using a special tool downloaded by Adobe), deleting a bunch of files created by Flash Player in various locations on my computer, and Try it, can't hurt, and I couldn't believe after 4 weeks of no sound on youtube it worked GREAT!

I use a Logitech G35, there was volume in youtube but not other flash player on other website. Go to the following sweetspot in your registry: My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Win dows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32 Create a new String value named ?wavemapper?. On the Audio tab, set "Default Music Synthesizer" to "General MIDI". have a peek here EDIT: Never mind, just had to re-install the 64-bit Realtek HD Audio Codec.

jack what happens when flash won't allow me to check the box??? Heres how to fix it go to Start>control panel>admin tools>services> windows audio, dbl click that and make sure on the "log on" tab its enabled. Fiddling with Global Storage Settings didn't work. No Sound On Videos dil okay here is what you do UNINSTALL ALL FLASH PLAYERS (Control Panel>>Add Remove Progrems>> Uninstall Adobe Flash Player Active X and Plugin go to google and search for: FLASH PLAYER
VLC, Windows Media Player all work fine. Sorted.
