I have Windows 7 on an IBM Thinkpad and I search through Program Files, Program Files (X86) and all of c:\Windows and subfolders and do not find notification.dll. ... I am still getting connectivity to the wireless router but not sure how resolve this message. To fix I right clicked on Command Prompt and selected "Run as Administrator" and then ran the same command and it worked just fine.
